Welcome back to our OCG Decklist Weekly Report. I’ve aggregated self reported decklists from twitter by various OCG players. You can see the source tweet linked above each images from more information like the event and record of the player.

In a complete flip from the previous week, Pure Snake-Eye decks have overtaken Fire King variants in representation. Paralleled by an increase in success by other FIRE decks like Salamangreat & Tenpai. We’ll continue to monitor trends between Fire King and Pure variants, but this week it seems Pure has seen more success.

Tenpai players seem to be trending away from breaking boards and into playing more Hand Traps. Particularly, these fiery dragons seem to have become the premier Dimension Shifter deck in the format, with all 7 list playing the maximum copies available. A particularly interesting list using a small Rokket package and maindecking Kaiser Colloseum from @takatoratheend was looked at in more detail over on RotK, article here.

Melodious is a deck that has seen a surprising amount of representation as a rogue strategy as well as finding their way into general Pendulum strategies as an engine. Just by normal summoning Refrain the Melodious Songstress, you can access a full set of scales, Beyond the Pendulum, a draw and an extra Pendulum body. By searching Couplet the Melodious Songstress and using her scale effect to search Melodious Concerto, Concerto can then fuse into Bacha the Melodious Maestra. The effect of Refrain in the extra deck and Bacha will both trigger (along with potentially Couplet’s effect) will both trigger, Bacha summoning a second Refrain from the deck and Refrain placing itself in the scale. The scale effect of Refrain can then send the 3rd Refrain to the grave by targeting Bacha, and then Bacha and the Refrain in the monster zone can link into Beyond the Pendulum. Beyond will trigger to search into your primary Pendulum Engine, Bacha will trigger to summon the 3rd Refrain from grave and the graveyard effect of Concerto will trigger to draw you a card since a Fusion monster was sent to the grave. And after all that, you’ve still only used your Normal Summon and have access to a set of scales and your Pendulum Summon. Ostinato can create similar lines by itself by putt Bacha directly onto the board as the first action.

Pure Melodious decks seem to forgo Beyond in favor of Bloom Harmonist the Melodious Composer, intending to end on Flowering Etoile the Melodious Grand Choir as their preferred choice of interruption backed by Elegy the Melodious Diva & Aria the Melodious Diva to keep it safe from interaction by the opponent.

Finally, Appointer of the Red Lotus seems to becoming more popular in the side deck, particularly among Snake-Eye Players. While Salamangreat players seem to be enjoying side-decking the aforementioned Kaiser Colloseum.

Special thanks to Lundrity Velen for assistance in aggregating these Deck Lists. Keep in mind this data is not perfect, so be sure to check out other resources, such as Road of the King for more information, as well as different interpretations of the information available. A more informed playerbase creates better players.
