分霊樹コアドラシル Bunreiju Coredrasil (Coredrasil the Spirit Tree Bunrei)

Note: 分霊 refers to basically a divided fragment of a shinto Kami, that nevertheless counts as the kami. Due to the technical terminology, I’m leaving this in Japanese.. The monster is of course named in part after the Norse world tree, Yggdrasil. Drasil means “Horse” or “Pillar”, the exact meaning of why the world tree was named the way it is is a subject of scholarly debate.
